Heart Fellowship in conjunction with the City of Prosper Police Department have come together to launch an Adopt-A-Cop program in Prosper, TX. The program is designed to bring the officers and the community closer together. We believe that developing a greater sense of community and opening the lines of communication between our officers and the families they serve will help develop the strong partnership that everyone desires.

 

How the program works:

Families can register here to volunteer to adopt an officer. In adopting the officer, the families are being asked to:
 

• Attend the kickoff picnic to meet and greet the officers

• Attend an informational meeting that outlines the guidelines for the program

  • The opportunity for Q&A will be during this event

• Pray regularly for the officers and their families by name 

• Recognize the officer on his/her birthday with a token of appreciation

  • Examples include store bought baked goods, cards, balloons

• Heart Fellowship will coordinate a service opportunity where the families can serve the community together with the officers

• Place an Adopt-A-Cop Decal in the back window of their vehicle

  • Heart Fellowship will provide the decal
